Long December

Have you noticed the APS blog has been a bit quiet lately? December has shaped up to be quite the month! Here’s a quick peek at a few things keeping us busy.

A strong start

We welcomed the month of December by hosting one of our international customers at headquarters here in Davenport.

The APS engineering and production team guided the customer for three days in the installation of a complete dual-alternator system and high idle controls on a Ford F-250 in our build space.

Bracket placement is key for alternator function.

Halfway through day three, the project was declared a success. Nothing like finishing up early!

Deutschland, Deutschland

At mid-month, project manager Phillip Potter departed for a whirlwind road-trip through UK and Germany with longtime APS partner Cre8 Associates Limited.

While interfacing with clients was the first order of business, a good time most certainly was had by all. With such great company at hand, what else could be expected?

All’s quiet … almost

As we close in on a much-anticipated holiday break, several projects are simmering.

We’ve been working on a new website for a few months, and we plan to launch our new look—with improved functionality!-- in the new year.

In 2018 we also plan to share some exciting news for local students pursuing higher education in science, technology, engineering and math.

Of course, these are just the happenings we’re able to share widely. There’s always more going on here at APS than meets the eye.

Stay tuned! January will be here before we know it.
